Descriptive Paragraphs

Descriptive paragraph is a paragraph which describing someone or something in a specific way. It means each of us has different way to describe something.

Here are some examples:
Descriptive Paragraph 1
My Little Sister
A seven years old girl whom I call “Nia” is my youngest sister. She has short curly black hair. Her backside hair ends at her shoulders. She has a somewhat large forehead with slightly thin eyebrows below it. Her narrow eyes are black with thin black lashes surrounding them. She has a somewhat flat nose. Her mouth is surrounded by two thin pale red lips which cover her yellowed-white teeth when she smiles. Her whole body is thin and covered by pale brown skin. She often wears some accessories such as bracelets and rings on her small hands. Her two small feet are so nimbly. Though she is somewhat skinny, but she is a cheerful and playful girl. Sometimes she is a resentful sister who drives me crazy; however, she is my little beloved sister.
My Lovely Al-Quran
In the right corner of my bed, near my pillow, I put my lovely black Al-Quran which I always read every night. It is a gift from my ex-girlfriend. Its size is just like a small note, but it is much thicker than a note. Exactly, it consists of more than six hundred pages. A thick black patterned synthetic leather covers both of front and back sides of it which are connected by a strap. The synthetic leather is well sewn to the cover. The papers of its content are yellow. The Arabic writing and Indonesian translation are printed in black. The writing is well printed and clear, so that I can read it easily. Besides, it provides a list of certain verses and some prayers. It also has three -red, yellow, and blue pages dividers which are made of thread. They help me to mark what pages that I have read. Thus, I always want to read its verses every night.
