Essay

Essay is a series of paragraph which discusses about one topic in its whole parts.

Elements of an essay are:

1. An Introductory paragraph, containing hook and the thesis statement of the essay.
2. Several Body paragraphs which are the supporting ideas expanded into paragraphs.
3. A concluding paragraph, providing the conclusion of the essay. 

Descriptive Essay

My Little Sister

One evening, a little girl appeared from the back of a curtain of a bedroom. With a wide grinning from her little mouth, she welcomed me home at the moment I arrived. Then, all of things burdening me went away. She is my youngest, little sister who always makes my presence at home different.

The first thing which my little sister makes my presence at home different is her easily changing attitude toward me. She is a kind person exactly, but she also has uniquely easily changeable attitude without a clear reason. It means when she acts well to me, she may suddenly become mad or angry because of something that I often do not realize. She usually has her attitude changed easily when we are watching TV, then I unintentionally change the channel, or when she has a favor which she wants me to accomplish it, but I do not give any response because I have something being done. After those two things happen, she suddenly becomes such a little monster who strike like hitting or punching me.

Another thing that makes my little sister makes my home lively is her unique efforts to attract our parents. She usually attracts my parents, when she has something that she wants. She usually tells our parents that she has something necessarily to be owned, and even something unnecessary. She tells them enthusiastically and tries to persuade them so that our parents accept it. At the moment she is trying to persuade our parents, my home always becomes lively because of her high-pitched voice. However, our parents, especially our father, often reject her favors than accept them, as consequently she will be mad and crying aloud. As her last effort, it sometimes works, but often fails.

Although she has such weird characteristics -her easily changing attitude toward me and her unique efforts to attract our parents, but those are what make me feel better at home. Even though it sometimes makes me tortured, but her changing attitude helps me to overcome tediousness. Then, watching her acts when she is trying to attract our parents, it is just like a unique entertainment at my home and often makes me laugh by myself. However, the most important thing exactly is that she is my little sister.
